While she was living in her villa in Cap d’Antibes at the French Riviera, Mrs. Estee Lauder enjoyed beauty of the Mediterranean and it inspired her to create this perfume. The fragrance is pellucid and sunny, with the note of earth and warm, woody accord in the base. The perfume is made of basil, jasmine, citrus, vetiver, rose, patchouli, moss and amber. It was created in 1969.
